FoundersCard
FoundersCard is a members-only organization for entrepreneurs and innovators. Launched in January 2010 by Eric Kuhn, FoundersCard provides travel, lifestyle, and business benefits, as well as access to networking events. The card, available for personal and business use, gives the entrepreneur on a budget access to travel, lifestyle, and business brands, including American Airlines, Equinox Fitness, W Hotels, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and Rackspace. FoundersCard was called the AmEx Black Card for startups by Business Insider and The New York Observer, and cited in Travel + Leisure Magazine as one of 2010's best travel websites.
Features
Based in Manhattan, FoundersCard has members in most major cities with its largest contingents in New York, San Francisco and London. To become a FoundersCard member, one must be referred by an existing member and submit an application that meets the eligibility criteria. Members are required to pay an annual fee of $495 USD and a one-time initiation fee of $65 USD.
Networking Events
FoundersCard regularly hosts Members-only Networking Events in cities such as New York, Boston, San Francisco and South Beach, Miami.
