Forthbox
ForthBox is a cryptocurrency gaming ecosystem founded in 2021 which officially went live in December 2021. ForthBox is headquartered in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
History
Forthbox was founded in 2021 and was deployed on the Binance Smart Chain in December 2021. ForthBox uses its own governance token called FBX. As of December 1st 2021, FBX had a total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens.
At the beginning of 2022, ForthBox deployed its first blockchain game "Space War" online and created "comment to earn" model.
The Web3 based Game-Fi aggregation platform also released its own game center in the month of January in 2022 and announced that their development team was working on deploying over 100 blockchain games on its platform.
Currently about 15 blockchain games are being developed to be released on the game center, but eventually they plan to host over 100 games with potential to further increase this number.
ForthBox incorporates DeFi and NFT protocols and according to the project’s team, their platform is much similar to Steam.
In 2022, ForthBox also entered a partnership with Clv Finance and integrated CLV chain and wallet to attract traffic to games deriving a diverse ecosystem of wallets, game guilds & social interactions. In April 2022, ForthBox partnered with Yield Guild Games (YGG), a play-to-earn gaming guild.
