Foodist colony

Foodist Colony is a free service on the web that is like a Swiss army knife for food lovers. It allows members to catalog, organize, and share the restaurants they dine at in an iTunes sort of way. It also has the community feature set that enables the sharing of restaurant recommendations amongst friends. News and reviews are aggregated from a large selection of food bloggers and presented accurately with their respective restaurants. Their comprehensive guide of restaurant details is always up to date and just as useful as Citysearch or Zagat.

Foodist Colony is currently available to NYC diners only but has plans to expand to several other major cities later this year. It was created by 2 web professionals who have worked together on hundreds of projects since 1997. They pride themselves on creative solutions, Providing personal value, and taking their time to ensure an intuitive and fluid user experience. They are are self-funded at the moment but open to investments only if it brings more than just money.

You can search, check out reviews, and organize NYC restaurants by the restaurants you've been to, your favorites, and those you want to try. It's a restaurant guide that is made up of your personal restaurant picks and brings together all your friends guides too! There is a lot more to it, so check it out!"
