- Things a Northsider might say
- Things that seemed innocent when you were a child
It was run during commercial breaks and after the break the fastest texter would be announced. The fastest texter into the show would have their name put on the FM104 Wall of Fame. The Competition was postponed when FM104 Win a House competition was run. It has recently been resumed (as of September 2007) on the show and listeners can now win a FM104 Mini Torch Keyring Projector.
What's In Kennedy's Head
What's In Kennedy's head is a competition in which listeners phone in to guess whats in Kennedy's's head. There is a cash prize. Three callers are selected at random and the competition is run twice a night. They must ask question's to which Adrian can only answer YES or No. The highest winnings were around âŽ700.
Get it off Your Chest
The first hour and a half of the show, from 9:00-10:30 focuses on listeners who can phone in and talk about anything and everything they wish to, it also finishes the show from 12:30-1:00. It is hosted by Adrian Kennedy and co-hosted by Jeremy Dixon.
The Yes/No Game
The Yes/No Game is a recently added competition that takes place in the "Get it off Your Chest" section of the show, in which callers have to answer whatever questions Adrian and Jeremy ask them. The catch is, the caller can't say "Yes" or "No" in an answer. They can however answer the questions any other way, and they must answer within Three seconds of the question being asked. Since the competition recently took place in the annual Christmas toy giveaway, The prize for winning is a toy which the listener selects. There has been a bit of controvercy about the origin of the game, as it was originaly held on a different radio show "Free Gaff" on a Community station "94.3 Digital Hub Fm". The presenters of this show however, Consider it a privelage for the Phoneshow to use the competition as they are avid fans of the Phoneshow.
Main Issues
Listeners to the show can email Adrian or leave a message about a topic they feel needs to be discussed. From 10:50 Adrian takes calls on these important issues that listeners want discussed. The issues derive mostly from problems in Dublin, major news stories or personal issues raised by callers.
