Flamez Mixtape
The Flamez Mixtape is a mixtape from Kansas City rapper, Kutt Calhoun. It's origin dates back to May 2004, as it was originally conceived to be a prelude to Kutt's 2004 release B.L.E.V.E.. The idea to do a mixtape himself came AbOUT while collaboration with fellow Kansas City Rapper Grant Rice for Grant's mixtape 'The Grant Rice Empire.' Disagreements with his label, Strange Music as well as a busy tour schedule, led to the project being shelved in 2004. Several tracks leaked and would travel the internet while the project remained sidelined. Kutt decided to pull it off the shelf in 2005 and continue work On It though only for a short time before it had to be put back on hold due to once again touring. He would once again continue work on it in the year 2006, replacing several of the songs that had already leaked. It was finally released in September 2007.
