The album received positive reviews from a number of publications including a 7/10 from Drowned in Sound, and 3.5/5 from MusicOMH.

Around the time of release Artrocker included a profile of Pagan Wanderer Lu in its April 2009 issue (issue #88). He was also interviewed AbOUT the album in the January 2009 issue of Bearded Magazine
