==Early life and background==
Fifi Richard-Leroy was born Yvette Joséphine Lilianne Yseult Richard in the [[Paris]] neighborhood of [[Montmartre]]. She never knew her father and was bought up by her mother Lilianne. She began working in a restaurant at the age of 16 where she met her future husband Alexis Leroy. She passed the [[baccalauréat]] exam.

==Career==
Leroy has worked as both an [[actress]] and a [[Model (person)|model]]. Her relationship with the much older Alexis Leroy came to the attention of the French [[tabloids]] within a matter of days. The relationship and media attention made her a minor [[celebrity]] in France.

Fifi had a number of small roles on French television between October 2006 and March 2007. In April 2007 she became a recurring character in ''R.I.S police scientifique'' as Maxine this lasted until December 2007. Between January 2008 and May 2008 Fifi had smalle roles in a number of French films including ''Il n'est pas intéressé'' and ''40 jours''. In August 2008 she landed the lead role in the film ''Après les Heures d'ouverture''.

On January 12, 2008 she married Alexis Leroy. The marriage lasted 8 months.
