Fiesta hotels
Fiesta Hotels is a Spanish based hotel chain, operating four sub groups of hotel chains, those being Fiesta Hotels, Palladium Hotels, Fresh Hotels, and Ayre Hotels. The entire chain operates in many countries, primarily Spain and Mexico. The chain hosts hotels, resorts, and appartment complexes.
History
The Fiesta Hotel chain was started in the late 1960s by the Matutes family, by opening two hotels in Ibiza, Spain. Throughout the 1970s the chain expanded, adding more hotels in Ibiza, as well as in Minorca, Spain and Mallorca, Spain. In the 1980s the chain spread into the Canary Islands. During the 1990s they focused on the Caribbean, and opened several hotels in the area, as well as expanding their Spanish chain. Throughout the 2000s, the chain found large growth, and formed the sub-groups of hotels that are used today, and expanded their chain in most locations they were already in, and opened several hotels and resorts in Mexico.
