Ferdinand Stock (* December 5th 1953 in Schwendau, Tyrol) is an Austrian artist and inventor, and founder of "Simple Happiness".

Vita

Ferdinand Stock attended the technical school for glass refinement, graphic and design in Kramsach. In Innsbruck he studied German and art education at the teacher training college.

Further vocational training:

  • Education at the European Center of Shiatsu, Munich
  • Formation in suggestion therapy and hypnotherapy in accordance to the American board of hypnotherapy, Rome/Los Angeles
  • Bushidō-training since 1979 as student of Hanshi 10th Dan Isao and Nobuo Ichikawa
  • Renshi 5th Dan in Japanese kinematics and Kiai-training
  • Master course in painting with Prof. Hannes Baier

Achievements

Ferdinand Stock has been painting and drawing since childhood. Since the mid 90s, he has concentrated on his art intensively. His motives are based on his knowledge on Asiatic concepts of Chi, the life energy, and his fascination for Quantum physics, astronomy and the [...]. As recently as in 2006, Stock showed his artworks in public for the first time, which caused high media interest: The Austrian television ORF produced a documentary film on him. Further reports were broadcasted in the course of his exhibition in the Centre for Art and Design in Barcelona. A video of his art opening in the Grand Marina Barcelona can be found on YouTube.

Stock has also been successful in other areas: After eight years of research and development, his receipt of Kombucha, a fermented tea drink of the Far East, was marketable. His wellness-drink with the “Carpe Diem” trademark is available on the European, North American and South African market.

Furthermore, Stock has practiced Bushidō for 30 years and is an expert for Kiai-Do.

In 2006, Ferdinand Stock took part in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) as crew member of the Bluewater Mooney, crossing the Atlantic in 16 days. Since May 2006, he is owner of a 53er Sunbeam-Yacht (Schöchl Yachtbau), that serves him as mobile home and studio.

Works

Ferdinand Stock has created more than 150 paintings (acrylic on canvas, mostly 80x100cm). Various originals are privately owned by art enthusiasts and collectors worldwide and an art gallery in Barcelona.
