February Offensive (1994)
The February Offensive was an Offensive by the VRS to capture Hasin hill and push the ARBiH from the Grabeš Platou. It started on the 6 February 1994 and ended the same day.
Background
The VRS already controlled parts near South Bihać since 1992 and attempted to take the city since.
The initial offensive
On 6 February 1994 the VRS launched an attack on Hasin Vrh (Koti 625) with the goal of destroying the hydroelectric power plant "Kostela" and cut communications between Bihać and Cazin. Before the attack, the VRS bombed the ARBiH positions then attacked. The VRS managed to capture several areas but not the hill, although the ARBiH had heavy losses, they kept fighting.
ARBiH counteroffensive
After several hours of fighting, the 505th Bužim Brigade under Izet Nanić began a counteroffensive and regained all of the lost areas.
APZB's role
During the Offensive, near Todorovo, the NOZB under the control Fikret Abdić attacked ARBiH's positions to create more pressure. After several failed attacks they retreated.
