Extragratis

Extragratis defines as free, in the sense that one does not have to pay for a service (free of charge).

Unlike gratis, one is not limited by another good or service.

Examples:

The free mobile phone one could receive when they sign up for a mobile telephone contract is gratis or free, but not extragratis as one would only receive the phone if one complies with the mobile telephone contract.
