Ewu's Paradise Theater
Ewu's Paradise Theater was a live music venue in Aspen, Colorado from 1978 until it closed in 1984. Founded by high profile Aspen resident David Moss, the 400-seat venue was music home to many of Aspen's nationally-known entertainers. The venue was a hot bed of controversy taking the liberal lifestyle of Aspen to another level and part of the widely reported local authorities vs. Federal authorities standoff. Entertainers that gained national exposure at the venue include Robin Williams and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Entertainers that played the venue in spite of its size include James Brown, The Eagles and Jimmy Buffett.
