Everychild
EveryChild is an international development charity based in the United Kingdom. EveryChild focuses on protecting vulnerable children who have been separated from their families and communities, or are at risk of being so.
Current Work
EveryChild's current projects include:
- Parent and Baby Units in Ukraine for vulnerable children at risk of institutionalisation.
- Child Protection Units in Ethiopia and Malawi, operating in conjunction with the local constabulary.
- Parenting workshops in Peru, aimed at reducing incidences of child abuse in families.
- Drop-in Centres and Safe Homes in Ethiopia, Providing refuge and rehabilitation for Ethiopia's street children.
- Juvenile Justice advocacy and child protection in Cambodia.
- Child Parliaments in India.
- Deinstitutionalisation of children and public awareness-raising of children's rights issues in Moldova.
