Etan (band)

Etan is an American Alternative Metal band.

Beginning

Etan formed in the summer of 2004 after the break up of Shovel. The band was started by the band's former vocalist Nate Sidek. Recruting ex-members of Dope and The Number 12 Looks Like You, he started the band, naming it after his own name, reversed.

Etan years

The band was signed to Artemis Records shortly after their formation, and their debut album, Etan, was released February 15, 2005.

Mad World Lives years

In 2006, Eric Loman replaced Jack Vernor on drums, Dean Walkins joined to play guitar, and the band began work on the follow up to their debut album. On March 6, 2007, the band released their second and latest album, Mad World Lives. On this album, the band took a strong political standpoint against the current president of the USA, George W. Bush. This was their final album for Artemis Records, and in June 2007 the band joined the roster at The End Records.
