The Egyptian Tourist Authority (ETA) is a government body responsible for providing services to foreign tourists coming to Egypt.
The Egyptian Tourist Authority (ETA) was established in March 1981 according to the Presidential decree no.134 under the auspices of the Minister of Tourism.
ETA’s main objectives are raising growth rates of international tourist traffic to Egypt, showing the authentic past of Egypt and its modern progress, helping to overcome the obstacles in the development of tourism traffic. Furthermore ETA wants to increase tourism awareness and promote domestic tourism.
