eSkilled is an Australian educational Software company based in Fortitude Valley, Queensland. Established in 2019, the company provides integrated systems for the administration, delivery, and management of vocational education and training.

Overview

eSkilled was founded in August 2019 as part of the Training Resources Group (TRG) by individuals with a background in the Australian vocational education and training (VET) sector. The company was created to develop an integrated system to support the administrative and training delivery needs of Registered Training Organizations (RTOs).

In April 2020, the company launched its Learning Management System (LMS), which was built on a customized Moodle framework. This system was developed during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic to support training providers in shifting to online delivery. By August 2021, the company had added a Student Management System (SMS) to its offerings. The SMS was designed to work alongside the LMS, enabling data integration for enrolment processing, compliance tracking, and other administrative tasks.

eSkilled was recognized in two separate award programs in 2022. It received a Highly Recommended rating from the Australian Achiever Awards for customer service. Later, in the same year, the company was awarded Gold in the Learning Management System category at the LearnX Awards. The company was named an ABA100 winner for Software Innovation by the Australian Business Awards in the following year. The award acknowledged the development of a suite of integrated tools, which included the LMS, SMS, and a library of interactive course content.

In 2024, eSkilled launched an AI Course Creator platform using GPT-4 Turbo (GPT-4o). This tool automates the development of digital learning materials such as course outlines, quizzes, multimedia content, and audio narration. It supports multilingual output and is compatible with SCORM-compliant systems.

The company’s software offering includes four main components. The Student Management System covers enrolments, AVETMISS reporting, communication, compliance, funding contracts, and finance. The Learning Management System provides tools for training delivery, assessment, language and literacy testing, attendance, analytics, and virtual classrooms. It also integrates with virtual reality modules. A course content library contains SCORM-based, nationally accredited interactive materials.

According to eSkilled, its platform is used by educational institutions and RTOs in Australia and internationally. The platform is used across vocational and higher education, workplace training, and school sectors.

The company has also engaged in social contribution initiatives. It has donated to disaster relief and humanitarian causes, including the UN Refugee Agency for Ukraine, UNICEF Australia for flood emergencies, Strays Worth Saving, the Philippine Red Cross, GIVIT (for flood recovery in New South Wales and Queensland), Caritas Manila, and Habitat for Humanity. In addition, the company has participated in industry conferences such as the ITECA Summit and VELG, and it has sponsored VET-related events and webinars focusing on supporting compliance, learning delivery, and sector engagement.
