Esiw

The ESIW or Employment Services Information Warehouse or Warehouse acts as a community driven pilot project funded by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada. It is a free centralized, coordinated and accessible resource for employment service providers and the general public in the City of Toronto.

Services for Service Providers

A hardcopy pamphlet warehouse for service providers of free employment related programs. Here, they can pick up and drop off pamphlets, flyers and brochures for marketing and distribution. The ESIW has information on Employment Services including Counselling, Newcomers, Women, Job Finding Clubs, Job Fairs, Adult Education, Peopel withy Disabilities, Youth, among others. Broadcast faxing of employment related programs to over 650 different service providers across the city of Toronto.

Services for the Public

A hotline for the general public that refers people quickly to services that meet their job search needs.

The ESIW staff outreach to the community groups to meet with the general public to provide quick referrals to services.

The ESIW maintains a website for use by all. There are over 400 flyers AbOUT different free services that help the unemployed of Toronto find work.
