Erich Martino
Erich Martino (born June 1969 in Mexico) is an Mexican multidisciplinary graphic designer, art director, music critic, Radio and Club Dj he is also a Musician in the electro rock band Réplica.
Trained as a graphic designer. Today he is a media professional with a wide view on communications. With work experience ranged from brand identity for television and print to hosting radio and TV shows for the likes of MTV, Reactor 105.7 and Radioactivo 98.5. Erich Martino is an alumnus of the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and is known for his work on three different stages, Televisa (1993–1999) under the direction of Alejandro González Iñárritu, Imagen Telecomunicaciones (1999–2003), as well as for designing record covers for artists such as Plastilina Mosh and the Noiselab Records Catalog (2002–2006).
He now continues to work designing movie titles, motion graphics and advertising projects for clients as Discovery Channel, Robert Rodriguez, Coca Cola and various Mexican film directors and advertising agencies.
Other
For more than one decade he have been working for some of the most influential radio stations and music magazines in Mexico and Latin America, earning an international reputation as a music critic. Currently producing a number of Podcasts in Spanish (Some of them in the iTunes Music Store 100 most downloaded in many countries including USA, Spain, Portugal and México).
Accomplishments
- Won a Silver ADDY in 1994 with the ID animation package for Canal 5
- Participation in the "Mexico City Come to London" Exhibition in the ICA Institute of Contemporary Arts of London 2002.
- His work has been reviewd and appeared in exhibitions, books, and design related magazines in Mexico, Spain, France, Netherlands and Japan.
- Invited for lectures in many of the design schools across the Mexican territory
