Eric J. Rose
Eric J. Rose is an American business executive who is the founder and chief executive officer of Event Risk.
Career
Rose began his career in the United States Marine Corps in 1996, serving in the Marine Anti-Terrorism Security Team. After his military service, Rose worked in executive protection and internal theft investigation for a family listed in Forbes.
Rose then transitioned into law enforcement, serving as a police officer with assignments in the Gang Suppression Unit and as a field training officer. Until October 2013, Rose served as a K9 unit dog handler for the Madison Township Police Department.
In 2019, Rose founded Event Risk, a firm providing physical security and consulting services.<ref name="auto"/>
Rose is credited for evacuating Madison Square Garden during the Jennifer Lopez concert in the 2019 blackout of New York City.<ref name="auto"/>
