Eric Burdett

Eric Burdett is a documentary filmmaker whose work includes the Elvis in East Peoria movie. He is a graduate of USC.

Elvis in East Peoria features Donna Didesch, Jim Potter, Lisa Adams, and Jerry Didesch. It is AbOUT a wife and mother who brings an Elvis impersonator to live with her family and does her best to help promote his career. The movie had its world premiere at the Saugatuck Waterfront Film Festival in Saugatuck, Michigan in June 2008 The movie had its West Coast premier at the San Francisco International Documentary Film Festival in October of 2008. The movie also screened May 13, 2009 at the ACME Theatre L.A.'s Comedy Fest. A synopsis of the movie described its Illinois setting and storyline as capturing "a sad GLIMPSE at the dimming of dreams and the appaling nature of American fashion," raising questions about hope, ambition and acid washed short shorts.

Burdet also directed Who's On First?, a 3 minute short in which a father and his 9-year-old daughter re-create the Abbott and Costello sketch. It screened at the 2009 Garden State Film Festival.
