Ereticopedia

Ereticopedia is a multilingual online dictionary of heretics, dissidents, and inquisitors in the Mediterranean world.

It is an academic project coordinated by young researchers with an international scientific committee, carried out by collaboration between French and Italian research universities. The website is primarily in Italian, but many of the articles are published in French, English, and Spanish.

As of September 2014, the online dictionary consisted of more than 1.000 articles.

The project also includes an online journal, which is hosted on the same site (Quaderni eretici / Cahiers hérétiques).

It ranks among its funding agencies the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (Program for young researchers "Rita Levi Montalcini").

The website that hosts the online dictionary and its associated journal is supported by Wikidot.

Its commercial publisher is Aracne.
