Equicom Savings Bank
Equicom Savings Bank, Inc. is a duly licensed thrift bank owned by the Equicom Group. Currently, It has its main office branch in Makati and eleven other branches in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Within one year from acquisition by the Equicom Group, the bank plans to have a total branch network consisting of at least eighteen branches. It also plans to install at least thirty Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) over the next two years, as the Bank is now a member of the Megalink consortium. At present, it is upgrading its logistical and support systems in anticipation of increased business, which would include payment cards (credit, debit and prepaid cards) and a Foreign Currency Deposit Unit (FCDU). The Bank sees rapid growth in the next five years, eventually becoming the bank of choice of SMEs (small and medium- sized enterprises) and consumers as well.
