Enova oil

EnovaTM is a brand of Diacylglycerol (DAG) oil sold in grocery stores across the United States, produced by Japan's Kao Corporation in partnership with the Archer Daniels Midland Company of Decatur, Illinois.

History

1999 - Years of research lead to the Kao Corporation's launch of Diacylglycerol-rich Econa(R) Healthy Cooking Oil in Japan. Within five years, it becomes the #1 cooking oil in the country.

2001 - Archer Daniels Midland Company forms a joint venture with Japan's Kao Corporation to manufacture and market Diacylglycerol (DAG) oil in North and South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. ADM-Kao is headquartered in Decatur, Illinois.

2005 - EnovaTM brand oil launches nationwide in United States.

Uses

EnovaTM cooking and salad oil can be used in place of conventional oils for all uses, including baking, sauteing, frying, and as an ingredient in salad dressings and marinades.

Other Facts

EnovaTM is now an ingredient in Glucerna Shakes, a dietary supplement designed for people with diabetes.

EnovaTM oil is backed by the Good Housekeeping Promises seal, representing Good Housekeeping's promise to refund or replace defective products within two years of purchase.
