Enock Gustave
Enock Gustave (born March 27th, 1998), better known as his former stage name Joey 900, is an American hip hop recording artist, producer, cinematographer, and songwriter from Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York City, New York.
Early life
Enock Gustave was born on March 27th, 1998 in Jamaica Estates, Queens, New York City, New York, United States to a Dominican mother and a Haitian father. At the age of two and a half he started his schooling at East Woods School. After his first two years of pre-K, Enock attended United Nations International School for his kindergarten and first grade years. Afterwards; his mother moved him to Huntington Station, New York and enrolled him in Long Island School for the Gifted, alongside his cousins and other children from the Seventh-Day Adventist church his family attended. After pulling him out from LISG, Enock attended various schools in the Huntington Station, New York area until eighth grade, when his mother decided to send him to Pine Forge Academy, an all black boarding school in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He stayed there until his junior year, when he moved back to Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
Career
Enock Gustave started rapping when he was 14 and living in Huntington Station, New York; and dropped an EP, "Talking To Myself", which has since been deleted, the following year. Since then, Enock has released only one body of work, a compilation entitled "This Is A Bunch Of Old [...]", which is composed of old songs he had on his laptop. Currently, Enock is working on his debut release, set to be released in late 2016.
