English Music Festival
Under Em Marshall's enthusiastic and passionate supervision, the English Music Festival (E.M.F.) is dedicated to promote the works of British composers.

Not many people are as passionate about English music as is Em Marshall, underlining the fact that most of the music of her country has been unjustly neglected---until now. Marshall is on a mission to change that, of course with help of many people including singers, musicians, conductors, scholars and music amateurs. The first annual music festival that she has organized took place in the Oxfordshire countryside in 2006. The next annual festival is currently being planned for Spring 2008. Volunteers and donations are warmly welcomed to help make the next project a great success.
The activities are primarily committed to the promotion of English music---through education ("introducing children to the wealth of our musical heritage"), public events (concerts, lectures) and by supporting artists who foster the appreciation of British composers.

- Em Marshall is also a regular writer of articles and reviews (notably for Music Web and Albion Magazine Online) and is playing a major role today in the revival of multiple overlooked gems by English composers and musicians. She is the Festival's Managing and Artistic Director.
