Energy Crisis '79
Energy Crisis '79 is a novelty single by Dickie Goodman released on Hot Line Records in 1979.
The record is a satire of the 1979 energy crisis in the United States. It is similar to Goodman's earlier single, Energy Crisis '74, with altered dialogue and song samples from 1979.
The B-side is "Pain", a spacey disco song, lasting well over four minutes long. The label Hot Line is not the same label which Al Greene signed to before he joined Hi Records.
