Emma Hamm
Emma Elizabeth Hamm was born on December 26, 1988 in Bryn Mawr, PA. She grew up in Wayne, and attended the Baldwin School from Pre-Kindergarten until twelfth grade. At an early age Emma displayed NATURAL athletic talent, and played soccer, basketball, and softball. In seventh grade she began playing lacrosse, and immediately fell in love with the sport. She is now a midfielder at Duke University, a Division I school.
High School Career
Although Emma began playing relatively late in the game, her proficiency for lacrosse was so great that in 9th grade she made the varsity lacrosse team. She was a three time first team All-American selection, and was captain and MVP her junior and senior seasons. She holds the school record in goals, ground balls, and draw controls. She was also a four time All-Main Line (regional) and All-InterAc (league) selection. Emma was a member of the under-19 national team in 2007 which won the world championship, and was selected to The All-World team. In June 2006 Emma received the Heather Leigh Albert Award which is awarded to the top female lacrosse player in the nation.
