Emily Jane Moore
Emily Jane Moore was a prolific English writer and historian of the 19th century. Her books were regarded for their "womanly character", and included the Silver Chime series of novels, and one of the earliest comprehensive biographies of Queen Victoria. Many of her works were also aimed for children. Her works were published by W. Nicholson & Sons, a publisher based at 26 Paternoster Square.
