Elsie Lamar

Elsie Sedem Bubuama also known as Elsie Lamar was born in Madina a suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Elsie had her senior secondary education in E.P.C Mawuko Girls Senior High School, Ho in the Volta Region. She proceeded to IPMC and BlueCrest University College Database Management and Software Management respectively. Elsie went on to study broadcast journalism at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI).

Elsie Lamar is a Media Practitioner and currently the head of Entertainment at the AfricaWeb Holdings (GhanaWeb). She is the host of Talkertainment, GhanaWebTV's first entertainment program, which debuted in 2018. Elsie has conducted interviews with numerous prominent figures throughout the years, including Blakk Sherif, Stonebwoy, and former French Ambassador Annie Sophie Avé. Before making the complete shift to entertainment, she first focused on politics, covering assignments in parliament and the courts. She belongs to the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA). One of the most well-known printing and advertising hubs in New Town, Asta Print Hub, was where she started her career as an advertiser and product manager. Through one of the company's affiliates at the time "Busy Internet," she also indulged in bitcoin trading. Later, she joined Media General, where she completed national service and an internship that gave her invaluable experience. She was a political journalist for Media General (TV3, 3NEWS, and OnuaFM) and co-produced a number of shows, including as TV3's New Day and Captured by Women.
