ELMO, the Electronic Mail Operator, is a configurable and fast mail client for UNIX-like operating systems. You could call it a Mail User Agent, but it offers much more than traditional MUAs:

• Address book
• Colors

• Keymaps and Hooks
• maildir and (partial) mbox support
• Bayesian mail filter
• MIME support (including support for encoded headers)
