Elle Milano

Elle Milano are a three-piece indie band based in Brighton, England.They are signed to Brighton Electric. They have dozens of recordings which are available online through various messageboards and the band's own MySpace account.

The band released "Swearing's for Art Students" as a limited EDition EP on 2nd April 2006 to GeneRally positive reviews1 2. The EP is now sold out but can still be downloaded on sites such as iTunes They are currently in the process of recording/mixing their debut album which is believed to be released in January 2008. On 4 July 2007, Marc Riley announced on BBC 6music that the band's album would be called 'Acres of Dead Space Cadets' and then played a track from the forthcoming album called 'My Brother, The Astronaut'. In September 2007, Alex Petersen, guitarist with the band, announced he would be leaving Elle Milano, citing 'artistic reasons'. The band are:

Radio appearances

The band have made a number of radio appearances but the most notable being on national BBC Radio 1 with Steve Lamacq on 22 August 2005 and on digital BBC Radio 6 on 1 July 2006, appearing on the Rocket Science show. More recently, the band performed with Bloc Party and Metric on Lamacq's Radio 6 live in the city in Reading, of which a number of live performances of the band were broadcast.
