Elias Seixas

Elias Seixas de Mattos was a truck driver from Rio de Janeiro in 1980, when he had suffered an unexplainable experience. His story, along with the ones from his two friends, has earned an important page in the history of Brazilian Ufology because of the quantity of details he displayed to describe the Situations.
On September 21, 1980, Elias and his companions on the back of the truck, his cousin Alberto Seixas Vieira and his friend Guaraci de Souza, were coming back from Goiás, were they had delivered some goods. In the middle of the trip, some strange things started to happen. The lights of the truck turned on even against Elias’s will, and they felt uncomfortable and sleepy.
When they were 100km away from Conceição do Araguaia, Goiás, Elias felt a pressure on his neck, the lights started to turn on again and he believed he was listening to a voice. He decided to stop.
When he got out the truck, he didn’t notice, but his friends said he was hit by a blue light. When all of them were outside the truck, they saw something that looked like a fire on the forest 1,5 km away from them and decided to investigate. Since the beginning, Alberto was afraid and decided not to walk towards the fire. Some moments after, Elias was also afraid and decided to go back. And so all of them got inside the truck and continued on their course.
Elias kept on the wheel. Guaraci, the other passenger, was carrying a straw hat that was supposedly thrown away from the window. Once again they decided to stop and got out the truck to get the hat. From that moment on, nobody could remember what happened, except for the sleepiness they felt when going back to the truck and that they reached their next stop five hours after 23:30, which was the agreed.
This amnesia and the strange things that happened made them look for help on the Ufology congress of the researcher Irene Granchi. And so their histories were disclosed, after several regressive hypnosis sessions that they had been submitted to.
As Elias claimed, he was surprised by a very strong light and taken to a space ship. Inside the ship, he saw a being sitting in front of several handspikes. Its arms were so big that it could put the elbows on the thighs without curving the body.
During his permanence he would have been submitted to some experiences. When he was lying on a kind of a “bed”, he saw one of his friends punching one of the beings (there were 3 beings). Elias claimed the beings had put something in his skull and a device on his chest. They collected some blood and sperm, and made some punctures on his fingers.
Elias claimed also that he was taken to what his captors explained as a space “base”, located on Mars. There he could see –without being seen, though- several small beings of large head, disproportionate to the body, who seemed to be working.
Elias continued his story and said he was at something like a street, when he saw two men, one black and the other white, who he had noticed to be siamese, joined at the arm. He intended to touch them, but he wasn’t allowed by his raptor. He was then taken to a marquee where he could see some beings who looked like grey plastic dolls. Finally, he was taken back to Earth. Elias said, among other information given during the hypnosis, that the beings came from the Ursa Minor star. They were 2,10 meters tall, had brilliant eyes cut horizontally, and their clothes were rubberized.
Without being hypnotized, he remembered only that he got out of the truck and then he was inside it again. He and his comrades noticed something wrong only when they realized that they arrived at their destiny 5 hours after the agreed, and that they had spent too little fuel for the distance they had covered.
Elias suffered of pain on the fingers and shoulders. He didn’t recognize his own daughter when he arrived home. He suffered of impotence for 4 months after the experience, and the doctors who had examined him couldn’t get to a diagnosis. The spot on his chest, apparently caused by a device they had introduced on him, remained.
Until nowadays, Elias presents his story on lectures and congresses, and his story is widely accepted by the Brazilian ufology, even though there hasn’t been any study of his sequels and the devices that were apparently implanted on him.
