EHealth Global Technologies

eHealth Global Technologies, Inc. (eHGT) A health information technology company based in Rochester, NY, incorporated in 2006. eHGT services include the secure acquisition and centralization of remote patient medical records for clinicians at facilities. In 2009, the company expanded to include patient medical image exchange services for Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) and Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs) across the United States.

eHGT collects patient medical records and images in a variety of formats which are then made available to providers and clinicians in a unified digital format.

History

Michael J. Margiotta founded National Digital Health Solutions, the predecessor to eHealth Global Technologies, Inc. in 2005.

As of 2011 over fifty percent of the nation’s top 100 hospitals and health information exchanges (HIEs) utilized the company’s eHealth Access Record Retrieval Service. The first statewide image exchange is currently under development. The company reported that its customer base has risen 25 percent in 2011.

Four Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) employed eHealth Connect Diagnostic Image Exchange Service. More than 55 healthcare facilities in the United States will utilize the eHealth Connect service when configurations are finalized.

Services

eHealth Access Record Retrieval Service: This service allows clinicians to obtain and manage remote patient health information electronically via Web-based software. eHealth Access Indexing organizes the data in an accessible digital format. Patient records in the eHealth Access Record Retrieval Service are merged with existing facility electronic medical record systems (EMRs). As of 2011medical records the company collected data from over 14,000 different locations.

eHealth Connect Diagnostic Image Exchange: This service provides authorized clinicians immediate access to full-resolution diagnostic-quality images at any time, from anywhere they are needed. Medical images are collected and merged into the Exchange, allowing authorized clinicians access to a comprehensive patient medical history remotely.
