Edmond Kan
Edmond Kan (born 24 September 1982 London, England) is a British born Chinese professional dog trainer, entrepreneur and television presenter.
Early life
Edmond Kan was born and raised in Surrey, England by Hong Kong, Chinese parents. He has one brother, and he is the youngest of the two children.
He attended local primary and secondary schools, and was accepted by The London School of Economics and Political Science to read Economics after completing his A-levels in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Kan also trained privately and is certified by the Central School of Speech and Drama and Trinity College London.
Career
Edmond Kan is widely known as head trainer of G3 Dogs - a premium dog services and products company.
G3 Dogs, more recently, has been popularized by the recent operation of the G3 Luxury Dog Hotel & Daycare Center, opening in December 2009. The new dog hotel features 56 custom made rooms for dogs as well as 7 private VIP bedrooms to provide the highest quality canine care.
Biography
In December 2007, during his travels in China; Kan was offered to take part on Shanghai Quest on ICS (International Channel of Shanghai - a Shanghai Media Group TV Channel). At the time, being only the 2nd all-new all-English speaking television channel in China; Kan and his wife featured in this 30 minute documentary AbOUT their lives, cultural insights and shocks whilst living in Shanghai.
Following this, in 2008, Kan filmed 7 episodes of Life Source with International Channel of Shanghai (ICS) teaching and training dogs and dog owners.
In addition to his TV appearances, he has been featured in magazines such as That's Shanghai and China Eastern's First Class in-flight magazine for his dog training and helping families with problem pets and solving their dogs’ behaviour problems.. Kan's dog training is primarily based in China (Shanghai) as Head Trainer of G3 Dog Training or Guai Gou Gou, meaning 'well-behaved dog' in Mandarin Chinese.
Kan also keeps a personal blog on 'Alive not Dead' which is a Hong Kong based website aimed at promoting artists amongst celebrities such as: Jet Li and Daniel Wu. 1

Kan has one son: Zenith Ta Kan (born 30 September 2008 in Cambridge, England).
