Eddie Bullock

Eddie Bullock (born 29 September 1952) is an English Golf Professional, Golf Instructor, Golf Business Consultant & Golf Educational speaker. Born in Bridlington, Yorkshire, his formative golfing years were at Selby Golf Club where he represented Yorkshire.
Biography
In 1971, Eddie began of his Professional career as an apprentice golf professional to Hedley Muscroft at Roundhay Golf Club, Leeds. 1974 gaining full PGA qualifications.
In 1977 Eddie became Head Professional at Bedford & County Golf Club, and is regarded as one of the pioneers of the Professional Golfers Association in establishing managerial leadership of a traditional member’s golf club.
During 1987 he achieved notoriety by becoming Secretary later General Manager at Bedford & County Golf Club, where he transformed the club operations towards a modern contemporary style of golf club management.
In 1998, following the retirement of Alex Hay, Eddie became Managing Director of the prestigious Woburn Golf Club; he took the club through significant changes with enormous success, and the club hosted many major national professional and amateur events, gaining continued success as one of the world’s best known tournament venues.
In 2008 Eddie started his own Golf Consultancy business, representing quality brands within the golf industry.
Eddie is also a Non Executive Director of Golf at Goodwood, www.goodwood.com and a trustee of the Golf Foundation.
Eddie is also a frequent speaker within the golf, and club industry throughout Europe, specialising on future golf club operations. He is widely recognised as an authority on emerging lifestyle trends. During his professional career he has mentored many young men and women who are developing their future careers in the game of golf; presently he is the official advisor general consul to the Golf Management programme at Bournemouth University. He has a personal campaign to improve the awareness of customer service standards and communication within Golf clubs in the United Kingdom. He has also contributed a regular series of successful articles which have proved very popular within the golf industry which were directed at the progressive golf business manager.
Eddie is currently the 'Captain of the (PGA) Professional Golfers' Association of GB&I one of the highest positions in the world of golf. Following in the footsteps, of many of the worlds renowned contributors to the game of golf.
He also sits on the board of the United Kingdom Golf Course Owners Association and is a member of the Golf Club Managers Association and Clubs Managers Association of Europe.
