E.C. Pau Grande Estocolmo is an amateur football team from Stockholm, Sweden. The team was founded in 2011 by Swedes and Brazilian expats in Sweden as a reaction to the lack of entertaining football in Sweden. The club pays a tribute to the Brazilian football legend Garrincha. Its name is a reference to Garrincha's birthplace, Pau Grande, and to his first football team, Esporte Clube Pau Grande. The team gained coverage in the Brazilian and Swedish media due to the unusual merge of cultures through the football.
Tactically, E.C. Pau Grande Estocolmo is inspired by the Telê Santana offensive approach to football, the so-called O Jogo Bonito. The team motto is that it is more important to play beautifully rather than winning.

Colors and Crest
The crest has the face of Garrincha and the team colors are green and black. The choice of black and green was a suggestion from Pedro Coelhão, in a reference to the team he supports, América FC of Belo Horizonte. The face of Garrincha in the crest was not the initial option. Initially there was the draw of a tree in the area where the face is, similar to the one in Figueirense's crest. But when the team made the request of the uniforms, the supplier said that due to technical issues, the tree in the crest could not be printed. Thus, Stoltz altered the crest, and added Garrincha's face, making the crest in the present form.
