Eastern Michigan roller hockey team
The Eastern Michigan roller hockey team is a club hockey team out of the university, their A team plays in the Division I Midwest Collegiate Roller Hockey League.The inline hockey team’s home arena is Total hockey in Novi, Michigan, which is located in the Oakland County. Their B team plays out of the Joe Dumars arena in the Midwest Collegiate Roller Hockey League also, which is located in the metro Detroit area. The Eastern Michigan University inline hockey team all collegiate inline hockey teams are a part of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association .
Team History
The team started in 2001 by joining in the Midwest Collegiate Roller Hockey league in the division II league. It was not until 2005 that the Eastern Inline hockey team moved to the Midwest Collegiate Roller Hockey Division I league. Eastern Michigan's B inline team was not established in the Midwest Collegiate Roller Hockey league until 2004. Their head coach till this date is still Adam Golchuck.
