E-Ville is a nonprofit, skater-run organization formed in 2006. E-Ville's mission is to be a community-wise sports initiative for adult females and to provide fun, friendly sports competition among like-minded women.

Teams

The league consists of three house teams; Black Gold Diggers, Los Pistolitas, and a brand new third team that is yet unnamed and will make their debut in the 2009/2010 season. The all-star travel team is the E-Ville Dead and is made up of the best players of the three house teams. The E-Ville Dead have played teams from the United States and across Canada.

Wild Rose Cup

In November 2007, E-Ville Roller Derby created the Wild Rose Challenge Cup, the first challenge cup in roller derby history in Canada. In 2007 E-Ville lost by two points in a nail-biting game against Calgary. In 2008, Oil City Derby Girls challenged Calgary and lost to the reigning champions. This spring, E-Ville again challenged Calgary in an attempt to bring home the cup but was again unsuccessful.
