Due Ancore
The Due Ancore brand is produced by the Coltellerie Marcello Beltrame, a knife commercial manufacturer and distributor operating in the town of Maniago, in the Province of Pordenone, Italy. The company specializes in the production of professional and luxury cutlery. Most of its production is exported.
History
The Coltellerie Marcello Beltrame was established by Marcello Beltrame in 1953, separating from an expanded family-owned knife manufacturer that operated since 1885. The Due Ancore brand originated in the family in 1912 and was owned by the new company which started producing cutlery with this brand.
The cutlery production of the family traces origins back to the local tradition of knife making in Maniago, generated in the 15th century under the control of the Venetian Republic, which acquired most of its knives and swords in the town of Maniago.
The production of the new company specialized in professional cutlery for chefs and butchers, in addition to traditional items for the construction and farming sectors. The plant was innovated purchasing new machinery and building a new production site in 1978, still to present its headquarter.
Over the last few years, the company has implemented its collection with two new ranges of top-flight knives, Lux and Lamami , which are characterized by eco-sustainability materials, exclusive design and an unmistakable style: the Italian Style! 100% Made in Italy.
Production
The Coltellerie Marcello Beltrame produces two lines of cutlery, the professional line and the Lamami line.
Professional Cutlery
The traditional range of production of the company is constituted by professional knives and other food preparation tools. It includes 0.4 to 3.5-kg cleavers, knives for butchering, knives and spatulas for kitchens and bakeries, cheese knives, carving forks and bonding knives. The company has implemented various innovations as it relates with food safety and hygiene in the recent years, such as switching the production of wood handles to PP (polypropylene) or POM (polyoxymethylene). The blades are made using molybdenum/vanadium stainless steel which has a high carbon content.
Lamami
Lamami is an innovative and high profile range of knives designed to rediscover the love for the [...] and the joy to share a flavor. The name Lamami is the combination of The Two Italian words "lama" (blade) and "amami" (love me). All the products are marked with the logo DUE ANCORE brand, founded in 1912. Moreover, this lovely set, packaged in a colored and elegant box to decorate and add value to every house, is suitable for every day and most important occasions.

Lamami Eco with a PaperStone handle, which is characterized by an innovative material obtained by 100% post-consumer recycled paper that has been saturated with petrofree phenolic resins and selected natural pigments.
The knives are hand crafted with the highest quality materials: blades are made of Molybdenum Vanadium stainless steel, which ensures an excellent [...] quality.
The book, made of upcycled material, matches the eco-friendly vision with its capacity of protecting and storageing the knives.
The entire collection is manufactured in Due Ancore's plant in Maniago , the centre of the Italian knives production; the recovery of the old artisan methods, exclusive Italian design and ecological sustainability are the keywords that give to the collection an excellence style.
