Dudley Borough Interfaith Network

Dudley Borough Interfaith Network was started in 2001 as a re-launch of the Dudley Council of Faiths, which first met in 1981.

The Network Dudley Borough Interfaith Network seeks to build relationships and understanding between people of all faiths and none, and to support faith communities in acting together for the benefit of the whole community. During controversy over the proposed new Dudley #Mosque the Interfaith Network was able to produce a factsheet, together with partners, offering accurate information on the project to counter inaccurate myths.

The Network's work has been highlighted over recent years, including during a visit by the Attorney General to examine it's work towards building social cohesion.

Most recently the Network has been highlighted for its development of the Faith Leaders Network, bringing faith leaders together with each other, and with strategic public sector leaders to influence local decision making and to act together in the community.
