Dr. Father Youssef Yammine
Brief Biography
Dr. Father Youssef Yammine was born in the North Lebanon Town of Zgharta, in 1933.
In 1947 he went to College in the University of Saint Joseph (USJ); a Jesuit Institution.
He was ordained into the Catholic/Maronite Priesthood in 1962, then travelled to Rome to continue his education. Later, he moved on to Paris, where he then attended The University of Sorbonne.
Then, in 1966, he went back to Lebanon; once again continuing his education in the College in Ghazir, The Maronite Patriarchal Ecclesiastic College; where he studied Philosophy. Then, he moved on to the Sagesse Institute of Beirut, graduating in 1974.
These days, he lives in Zgharta (Winter Season) and in Ehden (Summer Season).
