Dr Endusa Billy Muhando
Dr Endusa Billy Muhando is a Research Professor at the Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP) operated by the Institute of Northern Engineering (INE) of the University of Alaska Fairbanks
Previously he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa, Japan, under the JSPS program where he contributed significantly to research on development of advanced control paradigms for wind energy conversion systems in isolated islands, targeting some of the inhabited regions of Japan that rely on coal for fuel. He has received several awards from the president of the University of the Ryukyus for academic excellence and contribution, as well as recognition by industry. Due to patented work and several publications in renowned journals, he has been elevated to Senior Member of the IEEE
