Diego Filter

A Diego Filter is similar to a White noise machine in that it generates sound waves cancelling out sound from other sources. The defining difference between a standard White noise machine and a Diego Filter is that the cancelling sound waves are specifically matched to tones and frequencies produced by a Diego (latin name: Rodentum Diligo).

Due to the device's specific targeting of the tones and frequncies of a Diego, it effectively mutes the GeneRally annoying sound of such a creature.

Use

The Diego Filter is simple to deploy, in that it simply has to be placed in the vicinity of one or more Diegos. The device is omni-directional and thus does not have to placed directly in the path of the Diego's sound. Due to the specific nature of this device, the resulting sound is relatively muted in itself and is unobtrusive.

Design

Although the Diego Filter is a powerful device, it remains portable and can be powered by either a battery or mains supply.
