Devkinandan Thakur

Devkinandan Thakur (born 12 September 1978) is an Indian spiritual teacher and religious orator associated with the Nimbarka Sampradaya. He is known for delivering discourses on the Bhagavata Purana and for performing devotional kirtans in India and abroad.

Early life and family

Devkinandan Thakur was born on 12 September 1978 in Ohawa village, in the Mant region of Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father is Rajveer Sharma, and his mother is Anasuiya Devi. From a young age, he was exposed to devotional stories and Krishna Bhakti, which influenced his spiritual interests.

Education

After completing his early education, Thakur pursued a bachelor's degree in English. He later turned toward the study of Hindu scriptures and Sanatan Dharma. According to reports, he memorized the Bhagavata Purana by the age of 13 through a disciplined routine of daily recitation.

Career

Thakur began delivering spiritual discourses at an early age and gained recognition for his storytelling based on Hindu scriptures. His narratives focus on Radha-Krishna devotion and the values of Bhakti Yoga. He has conducted kathas and religious events in countries including Singapore, the United Kingdom, Norway, and the United States.
