Deutsch, Inc.

Deutsch, Inc, was founded as a print-focused boutique ad agency in 1969. Deutsch is a subsidiary of global advertising company Interpublic Group.

Today, Chairman Donny Deutsch (son of founder David Deutsch) also spends time working on his cable news show, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch. Linda Sawyer is the CEO.

Deutsch has been one of the most-revered agencies over the past 10 years. Clients include General Motors, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, T.G.I. Friday's, IKEA, Verizon, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

In recent years the agency has produced work such as the Coors Light “Wingman” ads, and the California Milk Advisory Board’s ads featuring talking cows. The agency’s 2004 creative efforts included a Mitsubishi Galant spot featuring the song “Ballroom Blitz,” by the band Sweet, and a Revlon spot featuring Halle Berry, Jaime King, Eva Mendes, and Julianne Moore in “real-life” scenarios.

The agency has offices in New York and Los Angeles. In addition to advertising, it does brand strategy, design direct marketing, interactive, media planning and buying and PR.

In 2004, it opened two new business arms: a graphic design business called Yellow Fin Premedia, and a product-placement business called Media Bridge Entertainment.
