Detronik

VJ Detronik (AKA Micho) is one of the first VJ's rooted in Detroit, Michigan USA. VJ Detronik has a strong foundation within Detroit’s Electronic Music Roots stemming from the origination of live visual mixing to Detroit's earliest forms of Electro / Techno in the Early to Mid 1990's. Micho is known for producing and creating large visual installations that adapt the environment to be reactive to sound and human interaction. Micho aka Detronik produces a variety of visual clips utilized by other VJ's across the globe. In addition to Micho's presence visually, he has established a foundation in interactive creation by developing a unique series of Detroit influenced MIDI controllers. Detronik started at the world renowned "Motor Lounge" in Hamtramck, Michigan and has remained in Detroit since its inception to expand conceptual views of multi-media art and technology. Detronik is constantly touring and as of January 2010, Micho has formed a Centre for New Media based in Detroit to help extend the boundaries of Art and Technology in a troubled city.
