Derrival

Derrival is a Canadian Alternative Indie-Rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia consisting of Adam Mah (Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Glen Jackson (Lead Guitar and Backup Vocals), Deven Azevedo (Bass and Backup Vocals), Shane Stephenson (Keys and Backup Vocals), and Dan Kozlowski (Drums). In the winter of 2011 they released a 2 song 7" which included The Autumn Game and Modern Age Kids. The band's second release, "Youth Captured", was put out in September of 2013.

History

Derrival formed in 2009 in Langley British Columbia out of high school friends. The band created their name as a combination of departure and arrival. Since forming, notable performances have been playing at Squamish Valley Music Festival in 2013 with Queens of the Stone Age, Vampire Weekend, Childish Gambino, Gogol Bordello, Band of Horses, Mackelmore, Momentum Youth Arts Festival 2012 opening for The Zolas and in 2013 opening for Hey Ocean.
