Derick Noffsinger

Derick Noffsinger is an American Industrial designer living and working within the United States. He has designed successful solutions for large respectable companies within the outdoor, lifestyle and action sport markets, which have reached the market place and have created noticeable influence.

History

On June 18, 2005 he graduated from the Metropolitan State College of Denver with a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Design. While attending college Derick became a President and Merit Award winner of the Industrial Designers Society of America Metro Chapter. He traveled to Arizona, Vancouver and San Francisco representing Metropolitan State College of Denver's industrial designer's student body.

In 2005, Derick started his first position in the design field at Hexhead Design. Derick became a entry level industrail designer while working with such compaines as Bose Corporation, Kelty (company), Timbuk2, Mountain Hardwear and Thule corporation.

In 2007 he began a trip to Tokyo for inspiration and research on an upcoming self endeavor. While he sat in his apartment above the streets of Tokyo/Ginza, Derick sketched IDeaS for a new clothing company which he brought to life when he returned to the states.

On January 1, 2008 Derick started Kadien LLC. Kadien is focused on the design and development of men's and women's graphic tees and hoodies. Kadien's mantra is "Understanding the obvious, Creating the glorious." At this time he was still working with Hexhead Design and became a mid-level industrial designer.

In October 2009 he resigned from Hexhead Design and traveled throughout Italy, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand researching and understanding world fashion.
