Deman Motorsport
The Deman Motorsport SR7 is a Lotus Seven type roadster manufactured in Glencairn, Ontario, Canada and sold in kit form.
The car uses the "Locost" approach of building the vehicle from other vehicle's "donor" parts which are laid up on a mig welded steel box tube space frame chassis. The chassis is powder coated to reduce electrolytic/dissimilar metal corrosion and Deman motorsport use state of the art CNC for water jet [...] of all aluminum panels.
Deman Motorsport offers "kits' in modular format which allows the prospective buyer to build the cas at their own pace and (engineering) comfort level. The buyer also has a variety of "performance" and "handling" and "comfort" options available to them throughout the Deman line of cars. A number of engine and drive train configurations are now available but the standard is the Suzuki GSX-R Hayabusa powered SR7.
