Dee Watkins

Dee Watkins was born in Memphis, Tennessee and currently resides in New York City. As a vocalist, Dee has performed with Geri Allen, Steve Coleman, Tyrone A. Davis, Michele Rosewoman and Kim Clarke to name a few. Her documentary The Face Lift Of God's House was shown in BAC International Film Festival 2005, where she won an award as an outstanding filmmaker for Women Of African Descent Filmmakers.
